 A journal of a man who made a foray into the financial markets in hopes of making some money.  The main goal being to not lose any money.  If in ten years I can cash out for at least the same amount as I have put in, then I will consider it a success.   It's a game.  It's the stock market and crypto game.  Coming up the ranks in this game took me a long time.  I lost any desire to take any financial risk during my last great business failure.  And I worked the Dave Ramsey baby step all the way to baby step seven.  Build wealth and give.  Now Dave's idea of building wealth is like watching paint dry.  And it works.  And I will continue to invest 15% into my 401k until the game is over.  But I am also blessed, thanks to Dave Ramsey's advice, with having extra income due to not having any debt.  It is only this extra income that somebody else might use to buy new shoes or new clothes or a new car, I will invest into the financial markets.  In that respect I can't lose

You make your money to cheerfully give to the church.  Ninety percent of any profits go to the church.  Train up the kids to make lots of money and give lots of money to the church.  And don't give it to any covid cavers.  I'm not a saint until I ask for forgiveness and then thoughts of spending my money on myself come back in to my head and I'm a sinner once again. Today is Easter Sunday and there is no google doodle for Christ.  That pretty much tells you what time it is.  I would have liked to get ahold of some of their stock back in the early days and if I did not give 90% of my profit to the church I would probably be on my way to hell right about now.  You get older, you get grumpier.  You've seen enough of this world to make you sick.  And that is why you need to go to church.  I go to church online.  And when I travel I need to go to a local church if there is one that is open and not wearing masks. Get up in the morning, make your bed, get some coffee. Sit down at the desk, check your calendar, check your money.  Pay your bills.  Got to remember to pay the bills.  I remember a time when I was worried whether or not I would be able to pay my bills.  That is not a good feeling.  It took me 20 years but I am now at a point where I am not worried about being able to pay my bills.  Glory to God!  Thank you Lord Jesus!  There's businessmen who appear to haver succeeded.  There's businessmen who have suffered great failures.  There's men everywhere in between. There will be one, and probably more than one Amazon, or Netflix, or Google, or Facebook, or Bitcoin, or Ethereum, or cryptocurrency that I do not know of today, that will come in to existence after the time that I write these words.  When will I become aware of it?  In the early stages? In the growth stage?  Or after the big opportunity has come and gone?  If I were to keep writing on this blog until the day I died and keep watching the market even if only as little as I have watched it before in my life, I think there will come a day that I will be able to say, see there, that stock or ETF or investment opportunity was not even around back on April 1, 2021.  And here I sit looking at it and knowing that I missed is.  Mark my words.
